Good News Kids Bible Camp is a FREE Vacation Bible School hosted by First Baptist Church of New Philadelphia!

Check-In & Check-Out

• Doors open at 5:45 PM each night, and we will be dismissed at 8:00 PM each night.
• Enter the church parking lot at the front entrance, come around to the left side of the church, and enter the doors under the awning.
• You will need to come into the building with your child to check them in, and you will need to enter the building to check them out.
• At check-in, your child will be given a name tag, and you will be given a security code. You must bring that code when you come to check out your child. If another adult picks up your child, they must have the code. If that is not possible, you must notify the volunteer at the check-in desk who will be picking up your child. There will be a new code each night.

Dress-Up & Snacks:

• We will have a different snack each night for preschool & elementary. Please notify us if your child has any food allergies that we should avoid.
• We will have dress-up themes each night. We will pick a couple of winners who we think are the best dressed from those who choose to dress up. The more creative, the better!
  • MONDAY - Crazy Characters: Dress up like a character from your favorite movie, book, story, or game!
  • TUESDAY - Silly Hat or Hair: The more outrageous, the better!
  • WEDNESDAY - Kid Crew Color: When your child gets checked in the first night, they will be assigned to a Kid Crew with a designated color. Dress up to represent your team and get creative!
  • THURSDAY - Wet & Wacky Water Night: This will also be the night we play water games, so even if your child doesn’t “dress up” to win, ensure they are dressed appropriately (more details below).
  • FRIDAY - No dress up. This will be our family night (more details below).

Special Nights:

• Thursday - Water Night: We will be playing water games this night. Please be sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the night, and if you don’t send them with a towel, you may want to bring one when you pick them up. When you pick up your child, you will need to come around to the back of the church building. You will not check them out inside the building. We will be outside.
• Friday - Family Night: For this night, the whole family is invited to join us in the gym at 6:00 PM as we wrap up our fun week of Kids Bible Camp. Afterward, everyone is welcome to join us behind the church for ice cream, games, face painting, balloon animals, and more! An adult will need to accompany your child for this night. There will be no check-in or check-out process, so at least one adult must attend with your child.
